Charly Cox
Managing Director
Charly founded the business after working in Sierra Leone as a communications consultant and spotting a lack of providers for innovative communications. From this frustration with ‘same old, same old’ was born a company that refuses to accept ‘that’s the way we’ve always done it’. Charly’s ability to craft practical and fun solutions comes in part from five years spent as a corporate fundraiser with Save the Children in London. This is also the drive behind the company’s commitment to offer value for money to customers in the developing world. Charly has been in West Africa for over five years, and has previously travelled widely in Europe, Asia and South America. She holds a masters degree in Photojournalism and International Documentary Photography, for which she studied in China. In her work as a consultant Charly devised and steered the communications campaign of the Sierra Leone Ministry of Health & Sanitation during the launch of the pioneering 2010 Free Healthcare Initiative, which offered free of cost health services to women and children, nationwide.
